You want to look your best at prom! After all, those prom pictures live on forever…so make sure they’re as poppin as possible! Getting your gear together can be fairly easy if you know where to look and go.
Some things to think about – *are you coordinating colors or tuxedos with your friends, *what is your budget – do you need a great look at an economical price, or have you been saving those coins to splurge on your dress/tuxedo, *what is your date wearing, style & color, *what is your personal style, to factor that into how you pull together a hot ‘lewk’?

♦ LuLu’s Fashion has many prom dress styles to choose from, also for the budget conscious.
♦ Men’s Wearhouse is coming through for the gents with some affordable yet stylish options – and ability to order in multiples if you are coordinating with the fellas!
♦ Black Tie is another great source for tuxedo looks; you want your look to be a unique reflection of your style, without worry of seeing replicas of yourself throughout prom, all wearing the same tux design (no bueno)!

Be sure to order as early as possible though, you don’t want any shipping snafus that cast a shadow over your special night. Give yourself an adequate buffer of time to address any fit issues, shipping delays, or the possibility of plainly not liking the dress/tux once you’ve received it and wanting to exchange for another size or style. Ordering online definitely increases your options, giving you a vast selection that just isn’t otherwise available in-store, but you have to work around these elements to make your shopping experience the best it can be.
It’s all in the SHOES: 
Any style-maven will tell you that an amazing pair of shoes transforms the most basic of outfits into ‘couture-level ensembles’! Don’t skimp on this important component of your overall look. If you’ve saved a pretty penny on your attire, you can invest a bit more (if necessary) in a stunning pair of shoes to really set off your look with Tom Ford-like style! 
Be careful though, it’s not about a label or name-brand alone – they have misfires, too, with some pretty unflattering shoe designs at times! It’s most about the LOOK of the shoe, as many styles ‘look’ much more expensive than they really are. So, don’t be misguided into thinking you can simply by a designer shoe and you’re all set…quite the contrary; take your time and if you need more help, ask a style-diva you may know for assistance (they’d love it!). You WANT to get this part RIGHT…just like you chose your prom date very selectively!

Tie it all together with flowers:
